Spa Night

Sometimes, the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference. Recently, we hosted a Spa Night at Fresh Start Project CIC, turning an ordinary evening into something special.

Halloween Spook Night

This Halloween, Fresh Start Project CIC transformed into a place of spooky vibes. The atmosphere was buzzing from the moment the decorations went up—pumpkins, spooky decorations, and all the classic Halloween touches that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

Hello and thank you for reading our blog.  We have had an exciting start to the year here at Fresh Start Project CIC. Even with the restrictions in place and difficulties that we are all facing with COVID-19, we have ensured that our days have been anything but boring!  We have had lots of fun with a wide range of activities including Baking, Cooking, Gardening, Exercise (in line with government guidelines), Arts and Crafts and much more.  At Fresh Start Project CIC, we want to do more than house the clients we support, we try to embed and teach life and social skills to support the clients towards independence and becoming an active, valued member of society.

We have felt like we have been on a series of The Great British Bake off and Master Chef over the last few months, the clients have enjoyed baking sweet treats and savoury snacks like Chocolate Cheesecake, Victoria Sponge, Muffins, Scones of every variety, Pies, Parmos, Curry’s and Dinners with all the trimmings (Including our Team Leader Kelly’s legendary Yorkshire puddings)!

During the winter months, you would think it is impossible to get out in the garden and make it look pretty, but here at Fresh Start Project CIC, we have made planters, chill out areas, seating and much more!

While the gyms have been closed, we have followed Joe Wicks lead and started our own fitness class every morning for those who want to take part and what a success it has been.

So, whilst it has not been the start to the year we wanted due to COVID-19, we have looked for the positives and made the best out of the situation that we can.  We look forward to updating you with our amazing activities and business news as the year continues.
